About the Opportunity:
Komatsu South Africa is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for its Apprenticeships 2026 / 2027 Programme. The apprenticeship programme combines practical workplace training with theoretical learning in designated trades to develop technical skills and assist candidates in achieving artisan status. This opportunity is ideal for energetic, self-motivated individuals who are willing to learn, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acquaint yourself with the apprenticeship training programme and understand all requirements.
- Participate in practical and theoretical training activities.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
- Successfully complete all required training modules.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
Requirements:
- N3 with four subjects, including the relevant trade theory.
- Minimum D / Level 4 symbol for Mathematics and Physical Science.
- OR NC(V) Level 4 with minimum D / Level 4 symbol for Mathematics and another subject in Engineering and Related Design or Electrical Infrastructure Construction.
- OR S1 qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science at D / Level 4 symbol or higher.
- Good communication skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
