Maintenance General Worker
Responsibilities:
- Perform any general duties and/or work allocated by a Foreman without direct supervision.
- Carry out tasks in the plant, workshop or at any other facilities during production / operation processes without direct supervision.
- Applies preventative, predictive, and reactive tasks according to IWC standards and procedures
- Reporting of all equipment / plant deviations
- Plan work and solve problems
- Housekeeping according to 5S principles
- Ad hoc duties – as requested by any senior employee
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 2 years’ mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial / chemical plant maintenance environment
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
- Mechanical and electrical industrial plant knowledge
- Work Shifts and overtime where required
- Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering
Packout General Worker
Responsibilities:
- Packaging Process
- Equipment cleaning
- Rework of product into plant or requested SKU’s
- General tasks as requested by supervisor
- Rejects any deviations packaging materials quality defects
- Checks if video jets are working, printing the correct batch numbers and reports any deviations to robot operator
- Performs any process related tasks to minimize process delays
- Performs any duties at 8/10 kg bucket and 25/50 kg line
- Does trouble shooting around all 8/10/25/50 kg line and reports to robot operator
- Accountable for all housekeeping matters in working area, 5S
- Prepares process equipment for maintenance and assists maintenance personnel
Chips Packer General Worker
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing support functions to manufacturing and maintenance process, including packaging and material handling in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contributes directly to specific tasks or processes that have limited discretion.
- The general role and accountabilities are production assistance, housekeeping, rework, running of standby systems and equipment accountability, as directed by their supervisor.
Packing of chips and Shock-it, filling of tankers and offloading of trucks
Plant General Worker
Responsibilities:
- Packaging Process
- Equipment cleaning
- Rework of product into plant or requested SKU’s
- General tasks as requested by Foreman
- Performs any process related tasks to minimize process delays
- Packs Shock-It & Chips
- Responsible for overall plant housekeeping
- Adjust Drum filter
- Does trouble-shooting and reports to Foreman
- Accountable for all housekeeping matters in the plant and surrounding areas, 5S
- Packs Hydrocalc
- Prepares process equipment for maintenance and assists maintenance personnel
- Acid wash of drum filter and all other equipment requiring acid wash
- Loading of tankers
- Offloading and loading of trucks – Hydrocalc and bulk lime
- Salt loading in plant
