The ARC-VIMP seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person to the following position at Roodeplaat, Pretoria.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver administrative support to the OHS Officer.
- Oversee office operations by creating, monitoring, and implementing processes to ensure timely and effective handling of the division’s business, including instructions, correspondence and appointments.
- Procurement of goods and services for OHS.
- Establish and manage proper record-keeping systems, including filing, retrieval, retention, storage, and destruction.
- Provide administrative support needed for the online submission of occupational injuries and diseases claims, campus safety files and OHS technical report
- Organize OHS related trainings.
- Attend and participate in any OHS/facility meeting as need may be.
- Assist in collecting OHS stats for monthly reporting.
- Partake in OHS investigations.
Requirements:
- A National Diploma in Occupational/Environmental Health Sciences.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of administrative processes.
- Good interpersonal relation.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- High degree of integrity and tact to handle sensitive and classified information.
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.

A competitive remuneration package will be congruent with the scope, responsibilities and the stature of the position. The appointment will be subject to a positive security clearance (as well as competency and leadership assessments).
