The Breede Valley Municipality invites students and unemployed persons currently residing in the Breede Valley Municipal area to apply for an opportunity to be placed within the Breede valley Municipality for 18-month work experience opportunity.
Stipends will be as follows:
- Graduate Internship Programme: R6 000.00
- TVET N6 Education Qualification: R4 000.00

Requirements:
Criteria 1: Persons that have graduated with an NQF level 6 and above education qualification that is applicable in the Municipal Environment and want to get work experience
- Bachelor of Law/BCom Law/ LLB (Ref: SSS/LS/GINTERN17) x 5
- Environmental Studies (Ref: PD/ES/GINTERN16) x 5
- ICT (Ref: SSS/ICT/GINTERN15) x 5
- Building Control (Ref: DP/BC/GINTERN14) x 5
- Town and Regional Planning (Ref: DP/TRP/GINTERN13) x 5
- Engineering – Architecture/ Building/ Electrical/ Civil Construction/ Construction Management/ Mechanical/ Quantity Surveying (Ref: PD/ ENG/GINTERN12) x 5
- Project Management (Ref:CS/PM/GINTERN11) x 5
- Public Management / Administration & Management Assistant (Ref: PMA/AA/GINTERN10) x 5
- Human Resources Management (Ref: SSS/HRM/GINTERN09) x 5
Criteria 2: Persons with a TVET N6 qualification that needs 18 months’ work experience for a National Diploma. The programmes will be as follows:

- WIL – Building Control (Ref: PDIS/BC/WINTERN07) x 5
- WIL – Town and Regional Planning (Ref:PS/TRP/WINTERN06) x 5
- WIL – Engineering – Architecture/ Building/ Electrical/ Civil Construction/ Construction Management/ Mechanical/ Quantity Surveying (Ref: ES/EABECC/WINTERN05) x 5
- WIL – Project Management (Ref: PM/WINTERN04) x 5
- WIL – Economics, Accounting or Finance, Internal Auditing or Risk Management (Ref: MM/EAFIA/WINTERN03) x 5
