Join FARO, a disruptive retail startup revolutionizing the industry with cutting-edge technology. As an intern, you will ensure the smooth and efficient movement of merchandise from our warehouses to retail stores and manage returns. Collaborate with our dynamic DC team to oversee outbound inventory, coordinate internal and 3PL deliveries, and research potential 3PL partners to enhance supply chain efficiency.
We are looking for a motivated Planning Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced executives in the fashion industry in South Africa. You’ll gain hands-on experience in planning and inventory management, helping us optimize our operations and meet customer demand efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing sales data and inventory levels to forecast demand
- Support the planning team in developing strategies to manage stock levels
- Participate in the creation of purchase orders and track their progress
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the right products are available at the right time
- Help maintain accurate records of inventory and sales performance
Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in;-
- Finance,
- Supply Chain Management,
- Business Administration,
- Or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for fashion retail and a keen interest in inventory management
