A Day in the Life
Ready to kickstart your finance career with a global leader in beauty? As a Finance Intern at L’Oréal, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, contributing to key projects and gaining valuable insights into the financial operations of a world-class organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights on business performance.
- Management Accounting:Support the development and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:Utilize your advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets, creating insightful reports and presentations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
- Ad hoc Projects: Provide support to the finance team on various projects and initiatives as required.
Who You Are:
- You are a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for finance and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, formulas, and data visualizations.
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively within a team and communicate financial information clearly.
- You are a self-starter who is eager to take initiative and make a tangible contribution to the team.
Qualifications:
- BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong academic record demonstrating excellence in accounting and finance coursework.
- A genuine interest in the beauty industry and L’Oréal’s brands is a plus.
