Duration: 24 Months
Salary: R7 860.50 monthly stipend

The Department of Tourism’s Internship Programme provides structured workplace exposure to help graduates:
- Gain practical experience in their field
- Build professional skills and confidence
- Improve their chances of long-term employment in the public and tourism sectors
Successful candidates will sign a 24-month internship contract and will be placed in various divisions aligned to their studies.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must;-
- Be unemployed South African graduates or postgraduates
- Have a relevant tertiary qualification(degree/diploma) in one of the listed fields
- NOT have been employed under any internship programme previously
- Be willing to work full-time in Pretoria for the full 24-month duration

Step 1: Complete the New Z83 Form
- Download or collect the new Z83 form from any Public Service Department or from www.gov.za.
- Clearly indicate the field and reference number you are applying for (e.g. Tourism Management – Ref No: DT-INTERN (0022)).
Step 2: Prepare Your CV and Documents
Your application must include:
- Completed and signed Z83 form (new version)
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Attach your academic modules to your CV

- Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Tertiary qualification(s)
will only be required from shortlisted candidatesand must be submitted to HR on or before the interview date.
