Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our marketing team and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. As a Marketing Intern, you will collaborate with various departments in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, social media posts, and newsletters.
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and project management.
- Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends, competitor activities, and performance metrics.
- Help in the planning and execution of promotional events and campaigns, both online and offline.
- Manage and update the company database and customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Contribute to social media strategy and create engaging content for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Track performance metrics, campaign performance, and online presence through analytics tools.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visual content that resonates with our target audience.
- Assist in email marketing campaigns, including writing and segmenting lists.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new marketing strategies and ideas.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in;-
- Marketing,
- Communications
- Or related field.
- Familiarity with marketing software and online tools (e.g., CRM tools, Google Analytics, social media platforms).
- Training in Design (Digital, Photography & Videography)
- Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Creativity and a passion for marketing.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies.
- Prior internship or work experience in marketing is a plus.
