About the Opportunity:
Revlon South Africa is offering a 12-month onsite Graduate role based at its Isando office. The Supply Chain Graduate – Health and Safety will support the Logistics Manager in managing and maintaining compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of SHE systems, policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with legal and company SHE requirements.
- Conduct routine SHE inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain SHE registers, permits, records and compliance documentation.
- Support SHE training, inductions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
- Identify workplace hazards, assess risks and support control measures.
- Monitor PPE compliance, housekeeping standards and safe work practices.
- Liaise with internal departments, contractors, inspectors and auditors on SHE matters.
- Track and report on SHE performance metrics, audits, incidents and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety culture and risk management.
Requirements:
- Matric or NQF 4 equivalent.
- BTech or Advanced Diploma in Safety Management.
- Bachelor of Health and Safety, BHSc or BSc in Occupational Health and Safety.
- BSc Industrial Engineering with safety exposure.
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety principles and legislation.
- Ability to conduct basic risk assessments and support incident investigations.
- Ability to maintain SHE documentation and compliance records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or operational environment.
- Detail focused, safety conscious, proactive and disciplined.
