Job Purpose:

The Clinical Studies Unit (CSU) Graduate will support the CSU Department through leading digital transformation of clinical studies utilizing AI and advanced technologies. Maximising AI-powered site selection, digital recruitment forecasting, and automated workflow systems for study start-up. Manages real-time performance through AI-driven dashboards and predictive analytics. Coordinates stakeholder communication via digital platforms and AI meeting assistants. Ensures quality and compliance through automated monitoring systems and predictive analytics. Key focus on leveraging technology to optimize study efficiency, maintain compliance, and enhance decision-making while reducing manual processes and improving study outcomes.

Scope:

The CSU Graduate will support the CSU Department by optimising and innovating the integration of digital tools and AI into the Clinical trial value chain – feasibility, startup, maintenance, close out, relationship management.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Local Study Strategy & Country Start-up Activities

  • AI-powered site selection tools that analyze historical performance data to identify optimal sites
  • Digital recruitment forecasting using predictive analytics to develop data-driven recruitment strategies
  • Automated workflow management systems to track and streamline start-up activities
  • Virtual kick-off meetings with interactive digital collaboration tools
  • AI-assisted document generation for country-specific recruitment materials

2. Local Study Management & Execution

  • Real-time performance dashboards (PLAI) with AI-driven insights highlighting potential issues
  • Automated CTMS integration with predictive analytics for timeline adherence
  • Risk assessment AI that continuously evaluates study data to identify emerging risks
  • Digital site engagement platforms with personalized communication tools
  • Automated escalation systems that trigger when KPIs fall below thresholds

3. Study Budget Management

  • AI-powered budget forecasting tools that optimize resource allocation
  • Digital financial tracking systems with real-time variance analysis
  • Automated budget alerts when approaching thresholds
  • Predictive cost modeling to identify potential budget issues before they occur
  • Digital approval workflows for budget updates and change management

4. Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Centralized digital collaboration platforms connecting all stakeholders
  • AI meeting assistants that capture action items and follow up automatically
  • Data visualization tools for sharing KPIs across teams
  • Virtual engagement platforms for recruitment booster activities
  • Resource optimization algorithms that suggest optimal staffing models

5. Quality & Compliance Management

  • Automated compliance monitoring with AI-driven risk detection
  • Digital quality control systems that flag data anomalies in real-time
  • Training management platforms with AI-personalized learning paths
  • Inspection readiness digital assistants that continuously audit documentation
  • Predictive quality analytics to identify potential compliance issues before they occur

Job-Holder Entry Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Biochemistry or related Natural Science
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career in clinical research is mandatory.
  • Ability to gain solid knowledge of clinical development process and relevant therapeutic/disease area(s) and a strong interest in Project Management
  • Data analytic skills and use of digital tools, platforms and systems
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to create and foster trustful relationships with several internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in English (reading, writing, and comprehension).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quick to adopt digital platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
