Are you eager to launch your career in the insurance and risk management sector? We are offering three internship opportunities for motivated graduates who are passionate about technical broking, underwriting, and risk management.
About the Programme:
Successful candidates will be placed in our Durban, Centurion, and Cape Town offices, where they will gain hands-on exposure to the technical broking and risk environment. This program forms part of our long-term skills pipeline strategy, offering structured learning and on-the-job training with industry professionals.
Requirements:
We are looking for interns who demonstrate the following;-
- Educational Background: Minimum Grade 12. A diploma/degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong numerical skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Industry Interest: Keen interest in the insurance sector, particularly technical broking and risk management, with a willingness to learn industry regulations, underwriting principles, and policy structures. Prior industry experience will be an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and confidence in working with digital tools and systems.
- Behavioural Competencies: Professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
