Thorburn Security Solutions is looking to provide X2 unemployed youth who have graduated from a recognised public tertiary institution and requires hands -on experience and practical exposure to various aspects in the Human Resource field. This role provides an opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and insights into HR operations. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs various administrative tasks in support of the HR department.
- Screen resumes and application forms.
- Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
- Update employee records and ensure all relevant information is up to date.
- Assist in payroll queries.
- Schedule on-boarding off new employees with the training department.
- Prepare HR-related reports as and when needed.
- Update the HR database with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.
- Perform general office admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good command in English.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and professionally.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- Willingness to follow instructions.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Requirements:
- Matric.
- Degree in Human Resource Management.
- Requiring 24-months-service contract.
- Candidates need to provide their Matric Certificate and Academic Transcript/Certificate with their CV’s.
- No experience required.
- Must be a South African citizen, aged between 18 – 35 years.
- Should not be currently employed or participating in any learnership or internship programme.
- Must not have previously completed a SETA / Government internship program.
