The UMhlosinga Development Agency SOC Limited (UMDA), in collaboration with CATHSSETA, is offering a valuable Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity specifically for you!
UMDA is an Economic Development Agency wholly owned by the uMkhanyakude District Municipality. The agency is dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth and development through projects that significantly benefit the local communities and residents of the district.
About the Opportunity
Program Title: N6 Tourism Management TVET Placement DG 9927
Duration: 48 months
Stipend: R3500 per month
Start Date: 1st August 2024
End Date: 30th April 2026
Minimum Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Must have completed N6 Tourism Management from a public TVET college.
- Work Requirement: Must require work-integrated learning/practical experience to complete a diploma in Tourism Management.
- Employment Status: Must be unemployed.
- Funding Status: Must not be currently benefiting from any other government funding and/or bursary other than NSFAS.
Submission of Applications:
Interested candidates must submit a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae along with the following documents:
- A referral letter from the TVET college for WIL placement (not older than 6 months).
- Academic record.
- ID copy.
- Copy of Matric results.
- Proof of address/residence.
Note: Certified documents will only be required from shortlisted candidates to be submitted on or before the interview date.
