Requirements:

- Preference given to graduates from the University of Venda

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Internship: Animal Science (1346)
Job Duties:
- Assist with livestock care, including feeding and health checks
- Monitor growth performance, reproduction, and disease management
- Participate in feeding programs and ration formulation
- Implement animal welfare practices
- Collect and analyze data on livestock performance
- Support veterinary interventions like vaccination and deworming
Qualifications:
- BSc Agriculture in Animal Science
Internship: Plant and Soil (1344)
Job Duties:
- Conduct soil sampling, testing, and analysis
- Recommend soil improvement measures
- Monitor cropping systems and land management practices
- Document and report soil management activities
- Assist in research for high-yield crop varieties
- Participate in pest and disease control strategies
Qualifications:
- BSc Agriculture in Plant and Soil
Internship: Food Science and Technology (1343)
Job Duties:
- Assist faculty and graduate students in research projects
- Participate in laboratory activities for hands-on experience
- Analyze research data using statistical software
- Conduct literature reviews to support project development
- Participate in academic activities
Qualifications:
- BSc Agriculture in Forestry
Internship: Agribusiness (1339)
Job Duties:
- Train agricultural cooperative members
- Educate farmers on agricultural economics
- Collect data and write reports for community research projects
- Assist in linking agribusiness entities for student practicals
- Draft business plans for farmers
Qualifications:
- BSc Agribusiness Management
Internship: Forestry (1342)
Job Duties:
- Assist with daily forestry operations, including planting and harvesting
- Monitor forest growth and productivity
- Participate in forest inventory and data collection
- Support forest regeneration and reforestation programs
- Manage agroforestry systems integrating trees with crops or livestock
Qualifications:
- BSc Agriculture in Forestry
