York Timbers invites suitably qualified unemployed graduates to apply for its 2025/2026 Internship Experience Programme. This 12-month structured workplace programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the world of work by offering hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and industry-relevant skills across the forestry and related sectors.
About the York Timbers Internship Programme:
The York Timbers Internship Experience Programme provides practical exposure in real working environments, allowing interns to contribute meaningfully to operational and administrative functions while building long-term employability. The programme targets South African citizens aged 18–35 who have completed a relevant Diploma or Degree and are currently unemployed.
Preference will be given in line with Employment Equity requirements. Only complete applications submitted before the closing date will be considered.
Available Internship Opportunities (11 Posts):
York Timbers will accommodate 11 interns across the following disciplines:
- Human Resources Management – x2
- Logistics – x1
- Administration – x1
- Finance – x3
- Agriculture – x2
- Fire & Road Management – x1
- Technical Security – x1
Who Can Apply? (Minimum Requirements)
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- Be willing to commit to a 12-month workplace programme
