G & W Mineral Resources is a South Africa’s leading processor and supplier of specialty Industrial Minerals and has a number of small operations and distribution centers throughout the country. In order for us to improve our market share and to become a major force, we have the internship opportunity to our main plant in Wadeville, Germiston.
Job Description – Key objective:
The key objective of this graduate internship is to provide the unemployed graduate with valuable on-the-job training and experience within a full function Health, Safety and Environment, to enhance employability.
Reporting to: SHER Manager
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Recently completed University Degree or Diploma in Safety Management field.
skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Able to read and interpret information and legislation
- Sound administrative skills
- Able to prioritize and plan work activities
- Able to demonstrate a genuine concern for people’s health and safety.
- Able to demonstrate confidence to address any person
- Able to identify risks
- Dependable, able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written/ verbal communication
