We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented interns to join our Data Center operations team as NOC (Network Operations Center) Monitors. This internship offers hands-on experience in real-time monitoring of mission-critical infrastructure and exposure to data center best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Monitoring
- Monitor the real-time performance of data center infrastructure, including power, HVAC, cooling systems, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Utilise monitoring tools such as UFM, BMS, or customized dashboards.
- Detect, analyse, and report alarms, performance deviations, and early signs of system failure.
Incident Management
- Act as the first line of response to infrastructure alerts.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to relevant engineers or vendors.
- Coordinate across teams to address incidents and minimise service disruption.
Documentation & Reporting
- Log all incidents, system anomalies, resolutions, and maintenance activities.
- Generate periodic reports on system uptime, incident trends, and infrastructure performance.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices for data center operations.
- Support audit processes, risk assessments, and participate in disaster recovery drills.
Candidate Profile:
- Current student or recent graduate in;-
- IT,
- Electrical Engineering,
- Computer Science,
- Or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure monitoring systems or data center environments is a plus.
- Full-time availability is preferred.
