AFGRI Animal Feeds is looking for a General Assistant to be based in Klipheuwel. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in designated areas and assets around the factory and providing support with various general duties as needed.
Job Description:
Responsible for keeping certain areas and assets around the branch clean and assisting with general duties as requested
Key Performance Areas:
- Clean factory grounds, security office, bathroom, and administration block.
- Change garbage bin bags regularly.
- Clean premix area, warehouse, machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Store tools and equipment properly.
- Complete daily cleaning registers.
- Follow safe working procedures and wear PPE.
- Report unsafe conditions and defective equipment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and attend safety meetings.
- Monitor and maintain food safety procedures.
- Keep work areas neat and tidy.
Required Minimum Education/Training:
- Grade 10
Required Minimum Work Experience:
- Basic numeracy skills
- Basic communication skills
Technical Knowledge/Competencies:
- Basic reading and writing
- Physically able
- Valid driver’s license
Behavioural Competencies:
- Good Customer Service
- Punctuality
- Hardworking
- Disciplined
