Job Descreption:
Our client, a mining company is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their team. The role is a high pressure demanding one, which requires a lot of independence and initiative. The position reports directly to the Financial Director and the Group Financial Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivables
- Monthly financial posting on Pastel Evolution
- Fixed assets and depreciation
- Reconciliations
- Reporting
- VAT submissions
- Office administration and administrative support to team members
Requirements:
Qualification and Skills
- Formal Qualification – Accounting or equivalent
- At least 4 years’ experience in bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge on Pastel and Excel
- Good people skills
- Able to work independently and self-motivated
- Able to work under pressure
