Parts Incorporated Africa is searching for a Credit Controller to join the team in Durban. The purpose of this position is to perform tasks/activities associated with collecting and managing debts from company customers.
Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Managing and collecting of debts from company customers.Trade and supplier customers for MAP Dropshipment and for NAPA.
- Responding to customer queries
- Managing the age analysis
- Ensure that customers adhere to trade terms.
- Prepare weekly reports
- Report any payment issues to management
- Mailing supplier custumer statement and invoices
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12
- Relevant certificate/diploma would be advantageous
- Basic accounting procedures
- Competent in MS Office, databases and accounting software
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Well organised
- Customer orientated
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deal with problematic customers
- Previous work experience as a credit controller
