Key Purpose of the Role:
To co-ordinate all the administrative elements for commercial programming at 947 under the direction of the commercial manager. Take full accountability for the role in the area of responsibility by executing all specified functions within the role and adhering to processes, policies and procedure and always abiding by and upholding the company’s values.
Key Outputs / Accountability:
- Perform general administrative duties for all commercial campaigns (i.e. updating instruction sheets, loading of competitions, for the Programming Department through the adherence of commercial programming policies, processes and systems daily
- Assist with briefing and prepping Nights and weekend shows on commercial activity
- Work closely with the commercial manager to make sure all admin around campaigns is complete, including the daily loading of winners
- Assist at station events and activations when required
- Play a support role to other members of the programming team as and when required
Educational Qualifications:
- Matric
- Media studies degree, diploma or equivalent
Required Knowledge:
- Computer literacy skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)
- Professional interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Strong project management skills
- Problem-solving skills
- knowledge and understanding of Radio and or media
