Fruitways Farming invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the YES Youth Learner position (x1) on a 12-month fixed-term contract at their Glen Elgin site.
About the Opportunity:
The selected candidate will primarily assist at the Fruitways Molteno Clinic, but must also be willing to assist with other tasks on the farm. Internal and external applicants are welcome to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be between 18 – 27 years old
- Must own a smartphone
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be able to speak Afrikaans and/or English(isiXhosa an added advantage)
- Must be able to work under pressure with strong communication skills
- Must not have participated in a previous YES Programme
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- 1–2 years of working experience preferred
