Entry Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria;-
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric (higher qualifications advantageous).
- Must be a permanent employee of Northern Coal.
- Submit an updated CV and certified copies of academic qualifications.
- Have no outstanding disciplinary record.
- Be willing to undergo competency assessments as part of the selection process.
Mine Health and Safety Requirements:
In accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), successful candidates must hold — or be able to obtain — a valid certificate of fitness before beginning the programme. This ensures all participants meet the necessary medical standards for working in a mining environment.
