Technologist Learnership
Closing Date: 30 October 2024
The position requires a willingness to learn and develop skills in a dynamic and constantly evolving field.
The incumbent will receive on-the-job training for one (1) year, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining operating systems and platforms
- Supporting network systems and architecture
- Managing IPT/VOIP systems and PABX related products
- Providing assistance with printer function
- Working in specific operating environments, such as desktop or server
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Computer Studies as subject
Programmer Learnership
Closing Date: 30 October 2024
As a learner programmer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to be part of our in-house system development department, collaborating with various teams across aspects like finance, legal, retail, and silo services.
Purpose of the Position:
As a key member of NWK’s operational system development team, your primary focus will be on mastering the intricacies of programming within our dynamic environment.
Over the course of one year, you’ll undergo comprehensive on-the-job training, including but not limited to:
- Creating and developing a graphical interface in collaboration with PHP or natural programmers for the NWK operating system (no prior knowledge required).
Developing PHP programs within NWK’s existing framework.
Crafting web-based programs. - Testing and fine-tuning developed systems.
- Implementing systems and providing hands-on training to end-users.
Requirements:
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, we’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria;-
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred subjects include Mathematics, Accountancy, and Computer Studies.
- Minimum of 60% in Grade 12 Mathematics.
Business Administration Learnership
Closing Date: 31 October 2024
Overview: The learnership will provide you with the opportunity to fully understand the organisational development and administrative principles within the business environment from a theoretical and practical point of view.
Learnership will cover:
- Basic Mathematics.
- Business Communications.
- Personal Effectiveness.
- Principles of Administration.
- Organisational Development.
- Organisational Ethics.
- Service Provider Management
Requirements:
- A Grade 12 certificate with an average of 60%.
- Graduates will also be considered.
- Assessments must be administered for selection purposes
- Currently residing in the North West province
- Only those candidates who are not currently employed will be considered
The following will serve as a recommendation:
- Computer Applications Technology as subject on secondary school level
Generic Management Learnership
Closing Date: 31 October 2024
Overview: The learnership will provide you with theoretical and practical insight and guidance as to what is required for you to be a successful leader and manager.
Learnership will cover:
- Human Resources.
- Operations.
- Customer Relations and Business Literacy.
- Finance and Business Numeracy.
- General Management
Requirements:
- A Grade 12 certificate with an average of 60%.
- Graduates will also be considered.
- Assessments must be administered for selection purposes
- Currently residing in the North West province
- Only those candidates who are not currently employed will be considered
The following will serve as a recommendation:
- Computer Applications Technology as subject on secondary school level
