Applicants wanted for:
Skills Program for Basic Welding (accredited by MERSETA)
Training Stages:
Stage 1: Screening and Pre-evaluation
Stage 2: Basic Welding
The Course consists of 2 weeks theory, whereafter successful trainees will progress to 5 weeks practical training in:
- Mig Welding (Co2)
- ARC Welding (Stick)
- OXY-FUEL Gas Cutting
- Grinding Skills
- Handtools
Stage 3: Advanced Training
Stage 4: Practical Experience
- A weekly stipend – to assist with transport
Criteria for Applicants:
- Ages: 18 – 27
- Grade 12 Certificate (A MUST)
- N1 and N2 advantageous
- Must have technical aptitude
- Must provide contactable reference
- Must have Reliable Transport to and from Training
- (training will take place in Bellville South)
