This programme aims to empower individuals with meaningful skills, practical workplace exposure, and an accredited qualification while contributing to the healthcare sector.

As one of South Africa’s leading integrated healthcare organisations, Universal Healthcare provides medical scheme administration, corporate wellness, occupational health, digital health platforms, insurance products, and wellness solutions to over 10 million people. Learners accepted into the programme will be placed within a specific Universal Healthcare business unit, where they will gain hands-on experience aligned to their strengths, traits, and qualifications.

Learners may be placed in departments such as:

• Corporate Wellness
• Medical Scheme Administration
• Managed Care
• Client Services / Call Centre
• Insurance
• HR
• IT
• Finance

Who can apply?

• South African citizens
• Persons living with disabilities (valid medical/diagnostic proof required)
• Currently unemployed and not studying
• Must not have completed a Business Administration NQF Level 4 learnership previously
• Must have completed Grade 12
• Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage
• Must reside in Gauteng and be able to travel to Universal House, Sunninghill (Sandton)
