Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for;-
- Reporting to the Engineer and be responsible for all functions relating to the position Trainee Engineer
- Obtaining sufficient and comprehensive practical experience and develop into the role of applying technical and management skills to function as an operational
- Completion of all modules and exposure aligned to the Government Certificate of Competency.
- Compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential
- Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and the company standards/policies
Requirements:
- NQF Level 7 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering with GCC Mines and Works DMPR prescribed subjects
- Strong leadership and people skills with proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in English written and spoken language
- Medically fit for underground, working on heights and in confined spaces
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to function independently
- Computer Literate
- Project Management Skills
