Salary: R30 000.00 – R35 000.00

The programme provides an opportunity for unemployed graduates or applicants seeking to gain experience that will complement their theoretical studies to enable them to gain access to the labour market.
The mission of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is to drive enhanced delivery management, capacity improvement and contractor development in the construction industry through strategic interventions and partnerships.
The Board’s mandate is to: establish a national register of contractors and construction projects to systematically regulate, monitor and promote the performance of the industry for sustainable growth, delivery and empowerment; promote improved delivery management capacity and the uniform application of procurement policy throughout all spheres of government; promote improved performance and best practice of public and private sector clients, contractors and other participants in the construction delivery process; promote sustainable participation of the emerging sector; provide strategic direction and develop effective partnerships for growth, reform and improvement of the construction sector.

Qualifications:
- Postgraduate (NQF8) in Built Environment degree
Graduate Programme 2025 – Construction Industry Performance
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate (NQF8) in Built Environment degree
Graduate Programme – Construction Industry Regulations
Qualifications: Postgraduate (NQF 8) in;-
- Law, or
- Commerce
Graduate Programme 2025 – Research
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate (NQF8) in Built Environment degree
Graduate Programme 2025 – Build Programme
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate (NQF8) in Built Environment degree
Job Requirements:
A graduate holding the following;-
- Relevant Postgraduate (NQF8) Degree
- Basic procurement and infrastructure, computer skills, attention to detail, good communication and presentation skills. Team player, and work under pressure,
- Candidates who have previously participated in an internship and graduate programme should not apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, interns MUST meet the following minimum requirements;-
- Be a South Africa Citizen or South African Permanent Resident (with a valid South African Identity document).
- Non-South Africans are not eligible to apply.
Duration:
The internship programme is offered for a period of 5 years. Successful applicants will be required to sign a contract for the duration of the internship.
