As an intern, you will ensure the smooth and efficient movement of merchandise from our warehouses to retail stores and manage returns. Collaborate with our dynamic DC team to oversee outbound inventory, coordinate internal and 3PL deliveries, and research potential 3PL partners to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Inventory Management:
Ensure correct inventory labeling and system alignment (ERPNext).
Coordinate and schedule timely deliveries to retail stores.
Maintain detailed records of outbound shipments and inventory movements.
Identify and implement improvements in current controls.
3PL Coordination and Management:
Streamline logistics processes with existing 3PL partners.
Evaluate and improve current 3PL providers.
Research and recommend new 3PL partners aligning with FARO’s operational goals and cost constraints.
Skills and Qualifications:
Recent graduate with a degree in;-
Logistics,
Supply Chain Management,
Business Administration,
Or related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Prior experience or internships in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Strong communication and people management skills.
