Purpose of the Position:
The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study and require exposure in a work environment and require practical work experience to obtain their qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter a 12-month contract commencing 01 February 2025 and terminating on 31 January 2026.

People Intern
Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to):
- General Documentation and Administration
- Human Resources Planning
- Recruitment and Selection
- Salary and Benefit Administration
- Training and Development
- Industrial Relations and Labour Law
- Project Management
- General administrative assistance
Qualifications:
- Final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – degree / diploma.
PPL Internship
Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for production according to production plan Receiving and processing incoming stock
- Executing inventory controls and keeping high quality standards
- Add value in increasing departmental efficiencies and customer satisfaction
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Participate in stock counts
- Accurate identification, verification of records and inbound shipments. Inter plant transfer of materials
Requirements:
- Studying Degree / Diploma in Logistics
Supply Chain Cellar Intern
Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to):
- Process Optimisation – improve time and throughput
- Loss Control – measure and reduce product loss
- Problem Solving – use A1, A2 system to solve problems
- Verifying and improving work instructions – handling SOP’s
- Product transfers / blending – producing and processing products
- Quality Control – ensuring product meets specifications
- Sampling and analysis – ensuring correct standards are adhered to
- Savings projects – implementing cost reductions
- Reporting – capturing readings and analysis
- Planning – meeting weekly production requirements
- Production – exposure to different products and work areas
Qualifications:
- Excellent academic record and in final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – Engineering diploma
- Candidates in need of In Service or practical workplace experience
HSE Intern
Key Learning Areas:
- Assist and guide and influence on Risk, Health & Safety related matters.
- Ability to work independently and interact with people on all levels.
- Ability to plan, control, facilitate, coordinate and lead.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Sound knowledge of risk management principles and fundamentals.
- Sound knowledge of the OSHACT and all other Safety and Security Legislation.
- Knowledge of HEINEKEN Beverages Risk control standards.
- Ability to conceptualize future actions or needs to formulate plans for a function or discipline.
- Ability to analyse data and situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Strong investigative skills.
- Ability to communicate on all levels.
- Ability to train people on all levels.
Qualifications:
- Studying Degree / Diploma in Safety Management
