The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship / Learnership Programme 2024 / 2025.

The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Internship Positions (X40 Posts) and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) (X80 Posts) for the 2024 – 2025 Financial Year. The closing date for applications is the 14th June 2024
The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier in partnership with LGSETA is offering an Internship Programme and Work Integrated Learning Programme for 120 interns / learners for a period up to 12 months. The interns / learners will be deployed in Provincial Departments and Municipalities across KwaZulu-Natal. This will provide opportunities to unemployed interns/ learners to gain work experience in various skills sets.
REQUIREMENTS FOR WIL PROGRAMME:
- Applicants must be from KwaZulu-Natal,
- Applicants must be unemployed and have never participated in a Work Integrated Learning Programme from any government department
- Applicants must be registered with a recognized Institution of Higher Learning (signed and certified letter from the institution requesting WIL must be attached)
- Applicants must have successfully completed the institutional requirement to enroll in WIL Programme.
WORK INTERGRATED LEARNING (WIL):
- National Diploma – Public Administrator: PADM/WIL/24 (X30 POSTS)
- Bachelor of Urban and Reginal Planning: URPL/WIL/24 (X40 POSTS)
REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
- Applicants must be from KwaZulu-Natal.
- Applicants must be unemployed and have never participated in an Internship Programme from any government department
- Certified highest qualifications not older than 6 months from the current date (visible documents).
- Where a statement of results is submitted it must be accompanied by a completion letter from the institution.
- Applicants must have successfully completed the institutional requirement from a recognized Institution of Higher Learning to be considered for the Internship Programme.

- National Diploma – Geographical Information Sciences: GIS/INT/24 (X5 POSTS)
- Advanced Diploma in Project Management: ADPM/INT/24 (X5 POSTS)

Candidates short-listed for an interview will be required to provide the following documentation, on the date of the interview and failure to do so will result in the candidate being disqualified for the position:
- Certified copies of qualifications, driver’s license (where applicable).
- Copies of acting appointment letters for occupying acting positions (where applicable).
- Identity Document/Permanent Resident Permit for non-RSA Citizens (where applicable).
- Relevant registration with professional body (where applicable).
- Certificates are required, however, if a certificate is only to be issued at the graduation in the future, the statement of results, together with a letter from the educational institution indicating the date of the graduation will be accepted.
