Quality Control Intern
Lasec SA is looking to recruit a Quality Control Intern based at the Ndabeni Offices in Cape Town. The incumbent will form part of the Quality Assurance Team.
The QC Intern will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance department in maintaining product quality in line with relevant ISO standards and Regulatory Requirements.
Preferred requirements:
- Science Degree/National Diploma or similar
- Previous experience in quality control
- Knowledge of auditing, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Punctual, good organisational skills and ability to work well in a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with customer-oriented mindset.
Key Performance Areas:
- In-line product quality checks
- Completion of Master batch manufacturing records
- Environmental checks and record keeping
- Company and staff compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements
- Ensuring compliance to clean room requirements
- Reporting of product quality issues to senior management
Remuneration will be discussed at final interview stage.
