Internship Closing Date: 08 July 2024
Rand Water invites applicants to apply for a twelve (12) months Internship/Experiential Programme.
POSITIONS: ARTISAN INTERNSHIPS (X17)
Primary Duties:
- As a learner you will be provided with practical experience as part of your Work Integrated Learning to meet the requirements as stipulated by the Academic institution for your qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizens.
- All race applicable.
- Applicants must have Matric and a suitable qualification in;-
- Panel Beating and Spraying Painting x 2
- Petrol Motor Mechanical x 2
- Diesel Mechanical x 2
- Civil (Carpenter) x 1
- Welding x 2
- Instrumentation Mechanic x 2
- Electrical x 3
- Mechanical (Fitting and Turning) x 3
- Applicants must be under the age of 35.
The following documents must accompany your application form:
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Recommendation letter from the Tertiary training institute verifying that you must only complete the one-year training in the workplace environment. (Work Integrated Learning).
- Certified copy of ID document.
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate AND latest academic record.
- Certified copies of qualification
Knowledge
- Rand Water Mandate and its contribution to the water sector.
Skills
- Communication skills (verbal and written).
Attitude
- Self-motivated and results – driven.
