The Revlon Graduate Programme is a 12-month rotational development programme within the Cosmetic channel Sales Department. To provide a comprehensive introduction to working within a robust Commercial environment. The graduate is also responsible for the company’s customer strategy, to ensure that company goals are achieved through each brand within each category.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Merge Category, Shopper and Customer Insights to unlock Channel and retailer growth opportunities
Understanding Shopper trends and leveraging Insights to the benefit of all stakeholders (i.e brands, consumers, retailers and shoppers)
Actively interface with the Sales Department to determine and plan level of resources required to fully develop all changes of distribution
and obtain input into marketing plans
Prepare and present to the Sales Team and cycle brief on future projects
Effective Management of the TM Budget
Developing POP solutions that align the Strategies of Sales & Marketing to the Trade and Shopper profile
Sales and Customer Communications – internal and external Communication and alignment of upcoming Innovation and activities
Plan and Implement promotional activities for assigned Brands in line with approved Marketing plans
Working closely with Marketing to align on key projects and all POS material
Being the link between all sales and marketing initiatives including all NPD and Promotions
Point of Sale development and process Management:
Monitoring and evaluating trade promotion effectiveness in conjunction with National Accounts to ensure maximum benefit from all trade spend and the effective use of all POS material
Development, Presentation and Implementation of the TM Strategy to ensure growth of the Category, Mars Brands and the Improvement of Trade relationships
Conduct regular trade visits to analyze and establish in-depth trade needs and Strategies
Identify new Channels and Distribution opportunities as well as challenges for existing Distribution Channels
Analyze, monitor and propose appropriate Category assortment recommendations
Communicate and increase understanding of existing and new products and service solutions
Competitor analysis
Education and Experience:
Matric
University Degree in Marketing or comparable required
1 year FMCG or Cosmetics experience (advantageous)
Experience with multinational corporate reporting requirements.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Self-motivated and the ability to work without supervision
The ability to work consistently under pressure, attention to detail is important.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be prepared to travel – Trade visits, meetings, conference etc.
Valid driver’s license essential
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Must be Computer literate
