Your day at Samsung Electronics South Africa
The Professional Graduate is an entry level role, responsible to work closely with one or more senior professionals in the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Immerse yourself in a professional work environment, building valuable networks and gaining hands-on experience.
- Engage in daily operational activities, including tackling challenges, and supporting essential business processes.
- Benefit from access to essential learning platforms and a curriculum that offers readiness for the work environment.
- Contribute to corporate social responsibility by participating in company initiatives, fostering team engagement and commitment.
Minimum Requirements:
- The program is based in Johannesburg, South Africa (if based outside of Gauteng, you must be willing to relocate to Johannesburg at your own cost)
- Applicants must be South African citizens
- Applicants must be 28 years of age or younger
- Must be available to start in January 2025
- Must be prepared to work from the office daily

Graduate Programme in Supply Chain / Logistics
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the Business Operation Innovation team focusing on Supply Chain or Logistics function with a keen interest in Imports and Exports Management and seek opportunities to broaden their learning.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or will be completing by the end of 2024.
Graduate Programme in Legal
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the Legal function and seek opportunities to broaden their learning.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Law / LLB or will be completing by the end of 2024.
Graduate Programme in Human Resources
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the Human Resources function and seek opportunities to broaden their learning.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology or will be completing by the end of 2024.
Graduate Programme in Finance / Accounting or Internal Audit
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the Finance / Accounting / Internal Audit or Risk function and seek opportunities to broaden their learning.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Financial Management / Accounting or Internal Auditing or will be completing by the end of 2024.
Graduate Programme in Product Management/Key Account Management
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the Product Management (Planning) or Key Account Management (Sales) within the Consumer Electronics department.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing / any Data Analytics type qualification or will be completing by the end of 2024.
Graduate Programme in eCommerce
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the eCommerce function, the candidate must have a keen interest in APP Development and seek opportunities to broaden their learning.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing or will be completing by the end of 2024.
Graduate Programme in Marketing
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with tasks relevant to the Marketing function within the Corporate, Mobile Experience and Consumer Electronics departments. Candidates must have a creative flair, have an interest in Product Marketing (Sales & Promotions), Branding or Digital Marketing. We are looking for Marketers that have the ability to come up with fresh and new ideas.
Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must have either successfully completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing / Advertising / Strategic Marketing or will be completing by the end of 2024.

- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and ability to prioritize
- Commitment to delivering quality service and a passion for continuous improvement and learning
- Strong teamwork, collaboration and time management abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues

- Capacity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical manner
