Join Seriti Green for a unique opportunity in Renewable energy that allows students to gain practical skills beyond the classroom. The role is a developmental role, with the primary purpose being to learn through experiential learning in the Communication and Marketing field. This internship offers graduates hands-on marketing and communications experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. By fostering a positive work culture, we aim to equip interns with practical skills, valuable connections, and a confident mindset for future success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and website.
- Create engaging content for marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Conduct market research and analyse trends to support strategic marketing decisions.
- Help maintain and update the company’s website and social media profiles.
- Support the planning and execution of events, including webinars, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new ideas and strategies for marketing initiatives.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing and communications projects.
Requirements:
- Marketing & Comms Intern – Diploma/ Degree A Marketing qualification with Design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Interest in the renewable energy industry
Essential Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Communication Science or Marketing equivalent
- Managing online marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing)
- Marketing Automation
- Proficiency in Excel Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Manage relations with various marketing suppliers
- Efficient at multi-tasking and researching
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Valid driver’s licence
