About the Role:
We are urgently looking for two motivated and detail-oriented Communications & Public Affairs Interns to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about communications, media, and public relations, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing presentations for small projects and internal meetings.
- Support event logistics such as town halls and breakfast sessions,
- including coordination with Sodexo for room and catering arrangements.
- Design and update internal LCD screen slides and other digital content.
- Conduct daily online research on Janssen and Johnson & Johnson news and updates.
- Compile media coverage and communication performance reports.
- Provide administrative support for the Strength in You campaign and other internal initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to collect staff quotes and stories for LinkedIn content.
- Perform ad hoc communication and administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain professionalism and strong interpersonal skills in all interactions.
- Show initiative and a willingness to take on tasks outside the job scope to gain broader experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Must reside in or around Midrand.
- Must be available to work on-site, Monday to Friday.
