Our FMCG company operating in the personal care area, is looking for an energetic, driven individual who will take join our team as our Trade Marketing Assistant. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and be interested in the FMCG and Sales Industry. The candidate must demonstrate analytical skills and will be responsible for administration and data analytics of our key accounts within the company. The position is based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town and relocation would be required should the candidate currently reside outside of Cape Town.
Responsibilities: Assist with
- Data Analytics: Sales data analysis, B2B reporting & trackers, competitor analysis
- Trade Marketing Administration: Update trackers and reports (Co-op Promotions, Product information, NPD, Pricing, Listings etc)
- Trade Marketing Meetings: Create Buyer Presentations and action plans
- Sales Administration: Daily, Weekly & Monthly Sales reports, Targets, Commissions, Deals
- Support the team in the development of Trade and Sales Plans and the overall Brand Marketing Strategy
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assisting the Brand Team with admin tasks and coordination.
- Input ideas for new and existing brand campaigns and assisting their development and implementation
Minimum Requirements:
- Recent graduate
- BCom Degree in;-
- Marketing,
- Financial Management or Finance,
- Business Management,
- Supply Chain,
- Logistics, etc.
- Microsoft Office – good Excel Skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables) and competency in PowerPoint and Word.
- High Numerical Skills and Analytical skills.
- Good general knowledge and an eagerness to learn.
- Strong communication skill (written and verbal)
- Interest in FMCG and retail/B2B marketing
- Drivers license and own vehicle
Start date January 2025 depending on candidate availability
