An Office & Accommodation Cleaner positions is available in our Christiana Offices on a Fixed Term Contract. The role is responsible to take care of the Greenway Farm offices and accommodation. Within these areas the employee will carry out cleaning duties in an orderly condition and the upkeep of the guest houses. Suitable candidates must have a Matric with a 1 year demonstrated experience as a Cleaner with a knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning:
- Clean floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Empty trash and recyclables
Maintenance:
- Perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Replace air filters.
- Report maintenance issues.
Sanitation and Hygiene:
- Disinfect high-touch areas.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Maintain kitchen and break room cleanliness.
Equipment Operation:
- Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum, scrubber).
- Use chemical cleaning agents safely.
Safety and Security:
- Report hazards and security concerns
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 1 year’s demonstrated experience as a Cleaner
