Practical Experience:
You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience alongside the best in the industry.
Theoretical Knowledge:
This qualification will equip individuals to perform functions in the Network Operations environment within the telecommunications industry. Learners will be exposed to the management and surveillance of ICT networks, TCP/IP network operations, installation and maintenance of customer premises equipment, operation of telecommunications transport systems, maintenance and installation of telecommunication cables, and installation of network elements.
Upon successful completion, it will lead to the awarding of a Further Education and Training Certificate: Telecommunications Network Operations (NQF Level 4).
Requirements:
- Completed grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must have:
- Mathematics level 3 or;
- Mathematical Literacy with level 4
- English level 3
- Applicants must be unemployed.
- Must not have been on any other skills programme in the last 12 months.
