Introduction

We are currently recruiting for motivated Graduates to join our Digital Transformation for Learning Team (DT4L). We are recruiting for two distinct roles: Graduate Content Developer and Graduate Moodle Developer.

Job Description:

• The Content Developer will focus on gathering and structuring learning content from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring it aligns with pedagogical best practices and contributes to engaging digital learning experiences.
• The Moodle Developer will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Moodle platform, assisting with configurations, troubleshooting, and integrations.

Primary Responsibilities for the Role:

Content Coordination & Learning Development:

• English speaking and writing skills (accent not an issue) – they will assist in creating learning material
• Excellent general PC and Microsoft Office skills and experience, particularly PowerPoint
• Multimedia production skills, i.e. video/audio editing, graphic design, narration
• Storyline experience – interactivity, triggers, variables, interactions, feedback, media types (audio, video, images) – Storyline is the programme used by the consultants
• Familiarity with eLearning standards and exporting modules for LMS – The Training Academy is hosted in Moodle LMS, by the DT4L team.
• Knowledge of best user experience design
• Below will be an added advantage for best candidate to have Experience and understanding of
  • Instructional design skills
  • Learning Theory and how to apply to eLearning content
  • Curriculum Design
  • Learning Objective Development
  • Assessment Design

Moodle Administration & Development:

• Assist in setting up courses, activities, and resources within Moodle.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement
• Conduct basic Moodle scripting and plugin configurations to enhance user experience.
• Assist in integrating third-party tools with Moodle to enhance learning delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : CONTENT COORDINATION & LEARNING DEVELOPMENT:

• Degree/Diploma in Education
• Diploma in Education or
• Digital Authoring or
• Instructional Design

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : MOODLE ADMINISTRATION & DEVELOPMENT

• Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/ jQuery and MySQL) is an advantage.
