Purpose of this Role:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Researcher with a background in Anthropology or Sociology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, with a focus on collecting and analyzing data to assess and highlight the social impact of our work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to meaningful social research and support the creation of case studies that demonstrate the value of our projects.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

• A Degree in;-
  • Anthropology,
  • Sociology,
  • Or a related field.
• Strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience or familiarity with social impact measurement and reporting.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise reports
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for social change and understanding of how research can influence positive outcomes in communities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, or similar)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with case study writing or similar forms of qualitative research documentation.
• Familiarity with social impact assessment tools or frameworks (e.g., Social Return on Investment, Theory of Change).
• Knowledge of research ethics and data privacy principles
