We are looking for passionate and driven graduates to join our 2026 Human Resource Graduate Programme. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow within a global leader in the mining and metals industry.
We welcome applications from individuals who have graduated in 2024 or 2025 or will graduate by March 2026.
About the Programme:

Our Graduate Program offer you the chance to help shape Rio Tinto from within. The Graduate Program extends over two years, focusing on developing both foundational and future-focused skill.
Eligibility:
- Academic Qualifications: A completed or in-progress BCom or BBA degree in Human resources management or Industrial Psychology, with a graduation date in 2024, 2025, or by March 2026.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Work Experience: No prior work experience required.
- Graduate Programme Status: Must not be currently enrolled in or have previously participated in a graduate programme.
The following information must accompany your application:
- A complete academic record, starting from first year of study.
- A certified copy of a South African Identity Document.
- A certified copy of a valid South African Driver’s Licence.
- Certified copies of all relevant qualifications.
